Virginie Manichon is an architect and maker.

​

Originally from France, she received her Master's Degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and studied Industrial Design at San Francisco State University in California.

​

In addition to her architerctural work, Virginie has designed furniture, lighting systems and a line of wooden toys.

She now brings her artistry to a new pursuit: nature photography.
From wetlands to parklands, she captures our feathered, furry and scaly neighbors with an intimate and empathetic eye.
